And the next story has a lot of similarity in aspect of character, story and so on.....please enjoy....:)

Si Tanggang
Hikayat Si Tanggang (the Story of Si Tanggang) is Malaysians’ favourite story. The story is about an ungrateful son being cursed by his mother into stone.
Si Tanggang was a poor boy who lived with his father, Talang, and mother, Deruma. The father was a very poor fisherman. They lived by the sea. However, despite living in abject poverty Si Tanggang was a far-sighted boy. He had ambition and dreams to be rich and live a good live.
Tanggang grew older. One day, he told his mother his dreams that he wanted to be a traveller to find riches. He said he must be rich to help her and his father. But Talang and Deruma were reluctant to let him go. However, Tanggang was adamant to leave the village so the parents gave in. Tanggang was elated and promised the parents he would come back to the village when he became rich.
He began his journey in a little boat. In the journey, he was captured by a captain of a junk (an old Malay word for junk is jong) and he was made a slave. Time went by. Tanggang worked hard and obeyed every wish and whims of the captain thus later he became the apple of the captain’s eye. He was taught how to sail. As the captain did not have any son he grew to favour Tanggang that he later adopted Tanggang to be his son. After some time he asked Tanggang to marry his daughter.
The captain grew old and one day, he died and Tanggang was made the junk master. The clever Tanggang then showed his prowess as a seafarer and he became much richer. His name was renowned and later as he sailed to far places he married the second time. This time he married a beautiful princess.
Tanggang was fair to his two wives that he always brought them sailing and sight seeing. One day the grand junk docked at a river mouth of a village. People were awed looking a beautiful junk anchored in their village. The news of the grandeur spread and drew villagers in droves to see it.
But some villagers began to feel that the master of the junk was someone whom they used to see a long time ago. After much whispers and glances, they realised that the captain was Tanggang! They were very excited and ran back to the village to tell Talang and Deruma, Tanggang’s father and mother, that their son had come home. Talang and Deruma were very happy to hear the news. Quickly Deruma cooked Tanggang’s favourite food. Then they hurried to the river and rowed their little boat to the river mouth to see if that was really their beloved son whom they hadn’t met so long.
Alas, as they reached the big junk, the sailors stopped them from boarding. A while later, Tanggang appeared with his wife. Tanggang looked at the man and the woman. Deruma realised that that was indeed Tanggang her beloved son. She immediately cried out for Tanggang and excitedly gave the food to him. But Tanggang had another thought – an evil one. As he realised those poor folks were his father and mother he remembered his princess wife. Looking at his father’s and mother’s tattered clothes, Tanggang felt disgusted and embarrassed. They were so poor to be the father and mother-in-law of a princess. Wrapped in shame Tanggang turned away. But Talang and Deruma, so elated to see their son, didn’t realise Tanggang’s disgust that they cried his name and rushed to hug him.
Tanggang pretended not knowing them. After all he had been telling everyone his father and mother were long dead. Seeing Talang and Deruma, Tanggang’s wife asked him if the poor man and woman were really his parents. Fearful if his wife knew his secret Tanggang arrogantly chased Talang and Deruma away, pushing the food from his mother’s hand. The food dropped to the floor. The mother went on to hug him, trying to reason out that he was her son. Embarrassed, Tanggang pushed his mother away again and again. Deruma fell. Realising their son had forgotten them Talang and Deruma gave way. Heart broken, drenched in tears, they slowly rowed back to their village.
As soon as they reached the river bank, the mother looked up to the sky, stretched her two hands high and cried. “God the Almighty, if it is true he is the son of mine, whom I gave birth and nursed and loved, do punish him O God, do punish him O God, do punish him O God.”
As soon as the mother ended her sad wail, the sky immediately turned dark, black cloud hovered. A sharp lightning pierced through. The wind grew hard, the water rough. The waves began to smash the junk. The junk rolled uncontrollably from side to side, rocked by the black water. The sailors’ hearts sank. They knew what was going on.
Their rich master was being punished. The rough sea was chastisement from God the Almighty. Tanggang’s eyes widened. Regretting, deeply in fear, hands waving towards his mother, he screamed as loud as possible. He called for forgiveness. He wept and wailed in tears, his hoarse voice turned courser. But it was too late. The mother, heart hurt and soul wounded, turned away. In the midst of the roaring sea and flashing lightning the raging waves engulfed the junk. The water rushed in. The junk sank. Tanggang’s soulful voice vanished.

When the sea calmed, the villagers stared in astonishment. Tanggang, his wives, the junk and the sailors had turned into a huge stone, taking the shape of the junk.
The moral of this story is that we have to honour our parents. We need to shower our parents with love and respect. God the Almighty, or life itself, will punish those showing disrespect to their fathers and mothers.   Website : http://blog.aseankorea.org/archives/2443

World poverty

Poverty
Globalization
Every human being needs a range of basic necessities, such as food, water, clothing, shelter, education, and health care, for his or her daily life. The economic condition of lacking these essential goods and services to meet basic needs of life is called poverty.

While poverty exists everywhere, it is most severe in developing countries, where more than one person in five lives on less than $1 a day – the threshold, which is being used by the World Bank to define extreme poverty. In 2001, over 1 billion people lived in extreme poverty and nearly half the world’s population (2.8 billion) lived on less than $2 a day.

In developed countries, poverty results in wandering homeless people and poor suburbs and ghettos. In these cases we talk about relative poverty (in contrast to absolute poverty), which is measured by comparing one group’s situation to the situations of those who are more advantaged.

INDIGENOUS PERSPECTIVE
Poverty affects Indigenous Canadians (on and off reservations) of all ages, but statistics show that Native Youth are the most likely to experience various levels of homelessness in comparison to the rest of Canada. Half of the Indigenous population is under the age of 25 and quickly growing in numbers, with 25% of youth living in poverty on the reservation, and affecting 40% off-reserve youth. (Canadian Census 2001) The available statistics indicate only the youth accounted for, the number of youth living in poverty and struggling with homelessness is much higher than stated.

The extremity of Indigenous poverty is influenced by the obvious income-related factors, low-income, income-insecurity, job-insecurity, and the lack of education and resources, but more so related to the loss of traditional lifestyle and the loss of arable land and safe drinking water from increasing pollution and environmental degradation by industrial companies. Individuals that relocate from the reservation into towns and cities have difficulties in adapting to an urban lifestyle, often encountering racism, discrimination in addition to low levels of education and skills, an inability to afford housing, as well as suffering from culture-shock.

In urban areas where Native homelessness and poverty is the highest, Indigenous Organizations are investing into affordable housing initiatives, education and skills-based training, and employment resources. There is concentration on healing and wellness to encourage personal growth and emotional stability, and a variety of cultural and language programs, traditional healthcare, substance abuse counselors, elders, daycare, to provide the individual with a supportive community.

Eliminating poverty in developing countries is the goal of international development initiatives and the many international organizations working in the field. Strategies on how to eradicate poverty are, however, as numerous as the causes of poverty itself. The World Bank’s anti-poverty strategy, for example, depends heavily on reducing poverty though the promotion of economic growth.

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which are part of the Millennium Declaration, signed by the member states of the United Nations at the Millennium Summit in 2000, regard the elimination of extreme poverty as a much more complex task. Empowering women, combating HIV/AIDS and other diseases and ensuring sustainable development are among the goals and are all seen as necessary if extreme poverty is to be alleviated.

Baby Dumping

BABY DUMPING....!!!

what actually already heapend on our life today ? what the hell are you. do you think by dumped the newborn will settle all the problems that had been created by your own. newborn baby dosn't do anything to us so that we can just left them in front of mosque, in front someone house, and the worst scenario is when we found the baby dead due to its already ate by dog because the baby was dumped inside dumping area.

why all this thing happened in Malaysia that majority of the citizen was a muslim. In muslim believe, killing human is really huge sins. does all these people does not afraid to what Allah will punish them.

if we check in news worldwide, we will discovered that baby dumping only happened in Malaysia. WHY??? Thus other country does not have any problem with the Y generation's social problems. WHY??? thus other country does not have prostitution problems. why baby dumping happened in Malaysia but not in other country???

many initiative had been done by Malaysian Government to solve this problem. sex education, free condoms, and religion education in school had been conduct but we still can't see the improvement. statistic state, most of the time we will get the baby dumping cases is at the end of the year. we should stop and think why its happened.

in this situation, we cant put one blame only to one government only. Due to world globalisation era, a lot of things are able to be excess just at the tips of the finger. teenagers are exposed to many things without any control. Parent at the house supposed to monitor all the activities of their children. Now days, both of this important person in family are busy with their own works. It's make their children fell lonely and try to get the the happiness from their friends and mate. This situation may lead to social problems.

in other countries, there no bad perceptions to have sex without married. They don shy to deliver the child without the father of the child.that why there no report on case baby dumping. But in Malaysia, we unable to accept this situation because we still hold traditions. I didn't try to said this tradition is not good, but if we can accept this child born in this world, this crisis wont be a big problem. this newborn is unsin toward the mistake that had been done by their parent.

Baby dumping is a problem that can be control effectively if all personal involved and take part in prevent it.

Abuse and killing innocent people.

Abuse and killing innocent people.
Nowadays, abuse and murder among innocent people become a warm  topic that talked in all over country.
For example, abuse on children has become thing that common often heard every day reported in mass media. Abusing means a outrage which means in order to hurt that person. Usually abuse committed they for purpose frighten or to force them listen order the torturer. Usually, children will be scolded although without wrong to abuse their emotion. For example in a case sexual abuse on  Nurin Jazlin Jazimin abducted and physically abused and sexual before the body stuffed inside beg and left at roadside. From this case, all people must involve to settle this case such as the government should intervention by implementing heavier punishment to offender.
Among the causes occurrence of murder nowadays is from mental disruption aspect and revenge between people. For example, the case of Altantuya Sharibu, she had been killed ruthless then the body crushed by using explosive. From the act of society which not responsible,  had caused the country  shame. Among type murder may be classified to two namely cruel killing which deathly burned, cut or blown, while usual murder can categorized like shot or being stabbed. Whatever  the killing style carried out, it still regarded as inhuman.
Reverted to principles of religion, Islam necessitates human ensure good relations among men. Therefore, we together to nurture and inculcate affectionate nature and love in ourselves to be together creature such as that written in Surah al – Imran  : 104 , “Lets there arise out of you a band of people inviting o all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong, there are the one's to attain felicity.”
